Helping NBC Be First In Second Screen.
While second screen technology is nothing new these days, we were the first to help NBC address the technology and how it could be adopted for their shows. The live app we designed and developed is a unique companion-viewing tool that provided a real-time social experience, one where users engaged with fellow fans in a moderated social stream. The content was then synced to the on-air broadcast as fans watched their favorite shows on television.
We also developed the middleware platform in use for all of NBC.com. This was a major undertaking that allowed them the flexibility to handle the future growth of all show properties and community activity.
